Cabinet building, installation, furniture making, wood windows and doors, millwork, some basic construction and more… The goal is employment in the woodworking industry.
We offer:
- 2 weeks Essential Skills training
- 10 Weeks of Wood Shop training at NBCC, Mountain Road, Moncton, NB
- 12 Weeks on the Job Work Placement (paid)
- Free shop gear: steel-toed work boots, carpenters’ pouch, tools if required
- Training allowance while in the training portion of the program
- Safety certifications with all the latest credentials
You must be:
- Between 18– 30 years old
- At a Canadian Language Benchmark Level 4 in English or higher (for the purpose of in-shop safety)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Available for full-time training
- Committed to attend classes on a full-time basis
